Maple Cinnamon Butter is just so delightful! It can kick so many usually boring foods up a notch, and it’s so easy to make. Top sweet potatoes, toast, oatmeal, rolls, waffles, pancakes or my favorite, my pumpkin biscuits. It’s seriously a match made in heaven!
I personally like to make my pumpkin biscuits and serve maple cinnamon butter along side. Everyone just raves about the combination. I get a little wild sometimes and add a few dashes of nutmeg and maybe a tablespoon or two of brown sugar. Splash a bit of vanilla in there too. Make it your own! That’s the beauty of compound butters. There’s really no flavor limit. They take no time at all and keep well.
The holidays are coming up very quickly. It’s mid October already, can you believe it? So don’t get stuck in a bind. This butter is quick to make, but you can also make ahead of time and freeze or use immediately. Spread it on your breakfast, lunch or dinner or make for your guests to impress them! It’ll elevate your meals and tickle their taste buds in delight.
With room temperature butter add your maple syrup and cinnamon and any other ingredients you want. Mix well to combine and waalaa, you’re done! Store in a log or pipe into pretty rosettes. So yummy! So smooth! So addictive! This is a butter for any occasion. It’s simple!
So next time you’re at the grocery store, pick up some butter and give it a try. Let me know what you think.
